This allows you to completely silence entire ranges of the spectrum or to really bring back some fainter harmonics by boosting their amplitude thousandfold.Smooth and fluid graphics. The whole interface responds fluidly to change, even the frequency visualisation has a great frame rate and all the graphics are perfectly anti-aliased.It moves in a fluid manner in sync with the source sound and has a frequency resolution of about 10 Hz. It's also fine tuned so that intensities at different frequencies are represented in a way that matches closely to our perception. ![]() Frequency analyser. More intuitive than your usual logarithmic curve frequency display, this frequency analyser shows you the intensity of frequencies before and after the filtering with colours.Simple curve modification functions. You can modify the curve as a whole using the transpose function to shift the curve up and down by up to 10 octaves, affect the overall gain to shift all gain settings up or down evenly or even change the gain scale to apply a ratio to all gains, thus enabling you to either flatten, exaggerate or reverse the shape of a curve. You can create or disable bands by double clicking on the visualisation area of the interface and adjust them either in that area or using the knobs or even the automatable parameter sliders in the host's interface. The actual filter's frequency profile is displayed as a dashed curve when it differs from the ideal spline curve (this can be changed by changing the filter's resolution). No filter types to choose from, all points simply define part of the shape of the filter's spline curve. Spline-based filter design. Filters are simply created by designing a spline curve which can be made to adopt any imaginable shape. Also has the advantage of not incurring aliasing artifacts. Linear phase equalizer. Offers a better sound quality than the more common minimum phase equalizers by not affecting the phase of sound, only the intensity of frequencies, which makes it easier to achieve good sounding results. Also the free version cannot open or save presets. This free version only has up to 4 bands as opposed to up to 60 bands. Photosounder is on sale for $39 USD until July 31st, 2022.Please Note: This is the FREE VERSION of the SplineEQ. Every day spent using Photosounder brings new discoveries, new kinds of sounds never heard before, new effects never approximated, new takes on classical effects or methods, all merely by combining the power of the simple set of tools built in the program. The immense possibilities offered by Photosounder are only starting to be discovered. Powerful built-in image editing tools, some yet unknown to general image editing programs, are specifically tailored to enable you to create and edit sounds with ease in ways and with results simply impossible with other programs. Thanks to its powerful and omnipotent synthesis algorithms, it is capable of creating any sound possible. Photosounder is the first audio editor/synthesizer to have an entirely image-based approach to sound creation and editing. Photosounder features noise-based synthesis for synthesizing original sounds from nothing or resynthesizing wildly transformed sounds in a way that results in a continuous and smooth spectrum. Plugin Boutique has launched an exclusive sale on Photosounder, the software that offers lossless processing of sounds based on images. ![]()

My review represents the most current experience of a pCloud user. UPDATE AFTER PCLOUD RESPONSE: I always run the latest versions in all my devices expecting. In conclusion: If I could trust my files and account won’t be deleted, this would be a great service despite of any of the above issues. Sorting is weird For developers: pCloud offers an API !!, In my case, I built my personal desktop client and web App to address many of the above issues. I would recommend pCloud team to give some love to their web app, for example: Let us use “Shift” to select multiple files, or enter a selection mode where I can click anywhere on the file to select it. Since the other clients have their ups and downs, I often find myself using the browser to manage my files, the UI is nothing special, simple and allows you to do most of your tasks, the problem here is how terrible is to select multiple files at the same time, the only way is to click the small checkbox on each file, one by one, if you miss one, all your selection disappears. Finder extension doesn’t play nice with other services like OneDrive, If you enable the pCloud finder extensions it kill the other ones. ![]() I wonder if this is the reason some users complain their data is deleted, maybe they can not see it. If any folder has a special character, pCloud will show it as empty. The show stopper for you could the that the Mac version doesn’t (and probably won’t ever) support special characters. pCloud Drive is even slower here than on WIndows, but usable. Don’t expect performance to be a big feature (100Mb connection). I think is the client with less issues, it is just slow to download thumbs for pCloud Drive, but works (Remember that proud Drive is not the same as Sync folders). What you need to know is that it works with “Files” app, so that is good. I rarely used now, so I just don’t care about the issues on iOS. So if you just want to take photos have them in your cloud without having to remember to open the app before the time expires, don’t use 2FA. (I don’t remember the number of days because I stopped using it). If you enable 2 factor auth., keep in mind that the app will stop uploading data after 15 or 30 days if you don’t open the app and enter the password again. If you are browsing your photos and need to know where is located, you can't. Automatic upload is not reliable, could take days until pCloud realizes it needs to upload something, the workaround is to disable and enable automatic upload if you need to send your photos ASAP. For new users, these are the some aspects you will definitely find: On Android: 1. Probably is because the company is not well know or they don't look very friendly with their responses, basically nothing is ever wrong on their side and is the user's fault. I haven't had issues with deleted files or pCloud deleting my account so far, but honestly is a concern, so I download all my data every month to have a backup of the backup, is stupid, but is difficult to feel your data is safe. The NOT SO GOOD: Reading many reviews about deleted files, deleted accounts corrupted files affects the image of the product. Lan Sync: If you have multiple devices at home, the sync is faster because it uses your LAN network. Sync folders!!, I can just set up a new PC or Mac, connect pCloud to “My Documents”, “Desktop”, “Videos” or “Pictures” and magic, your new computer is ready. My account is connected to: 1 Windows 10 1 macOS Mojave 1 Samsung S8 1 iPad Pro 1 iPad Air The GOOD: No subscription!!. If you trust your files or account won’t be deleted, this is a great service despite of any technical issue. The price is also very competitive on the market, this is another great thing. I found that pCloud is the best combination of high-level security & privacy architecture with well-designed features. ![]() My files get sync and then played on the players of pCloud. I used to use VLC on my iPhone, but with pCloud I don't need it anymore. The iOS app comes with a built-in music player and video player. The pCloud team must have put a lot of thought to make such great features. The design of the software (web-based, desktop, and iOS) is great. You can also see that the SSL certificates use a Swiss based company to make sure that privacy is certainly respected. The company is also protected by Swiss privacy laws, and this is an added value. You can see that every piece of pCloud architecture makes security and privacy a priority. The pCloud team takes privacy and security very seriously. But here is a review of why I like pCloud: 1. I have been testing pCloud on the free version, and I am determined I will buy the 2TB lifetime plan. High-level security & privacy architecture. ![]() ![]() The university is 20 km away south of the city in the village of Thuwal.
